why are there so many people these days who are pitywhores?

people who wallow and wallow and wallow begging to tell others about their problems but never fixing them!?

i can never understand the idea of whining and doing nothing.

sh*t or get off the pot.

i see alot of people say things about their lives that are sad in some ways.. but when you really look at it.. they do nothing to fix it... they do nothing to change. all they do is complain and cry.

well maybe i'm just becoming jaded with my life and job and such having to deal with people and their complaints that now.. i feel like alot of people are just whiney babies. pansies.

so why? why won't they be proactive and fix it instead of just bad mouthing others or complaining about what others do to them?

i truly believe in karma and wonder if with their own actions they are drawing this crap to them. not saying they deserve it.. but they bring it on.

okay i'm done.

why get all butt hurt about life?

Faqct is people like to whine cuz' it's entertaining . That's why Seinfeld became such a huge tv show. That's all it's about.

Ya' know...the Talking Heads have a song on their first album called 'Compassion'..that has the line 'they say compassion is a virtue...but I don't have the TIME'. I rather like that-

There are some people who will never exit the whining or venting stage. But for MOST folks, it is a cathartic experience which allows one to get it out of themselves and then they can deal and progress.

Like you, I tire of the repetitious ones who want to stay put on a toad stool. The others, that would be MOST of them..... the toad stool is merely a stepping stone.

Deep sh*t from me, huh!???? laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

I like Seinfeld, besides most T.V shows relate to peoples problems and or every day lifes and or people just find it funny etc.

As for people who choose not to do noting about there own problems.. then that is there choice no body else can change rather or not that person chooses to do something good in there lifes is up to them.

All you can do is either choose not to listen or just offer advice and or helpful information for any body. Or or .. you could just be that one person who chooses to stand by them and give them that helpfull hand when they need some body just to hear there problems even if you don't want to hear it.. maybe all they need is to poor out there problems to feel better inside about them selfs, one may never know.

yeah but what a waste if you are nothing but a shoulder to cry on to someone who complains about the same thing over and over yet does nothing about it. i understand those who need a listening ear and am that ear on many occasions. i can simply listen or even offer no nonsense no bs information opinion and/or advice. but i cannot abide by those who want me to pity and cuddle them into happiness. i don't expect to change them...

i take as much as i can, then tell them how i feel and walk away. its up to them to either change or die wallowing in their crappy lives.

ya know? its like stop complaining. things can always be worse.

Irony (from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eironeía, meaning hypocrisy, deception, or feigned ignorance) is a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is an incongruity or discordance between what one says or does, and what one means or what is generally understood. Irony is a mode of expression that calls attention to discrepancy between two levels of knowledge. In fiction, it is a demonstration of the distance between the character's knowledge and that of the audience.

There is some argument[by whom?] about what qualifies as ironic, but all senses of irony revolve around the perceived notion of an incongruity between what is said and what is meant; or between an understanding of reality, or an expectation of a reality, and what actually happens
