Yes , It is our duty to help those that need it . I think it answers the big question . What is the meaning of life .
I have helped and been helped .
What better circumstance than getting the help you need , when you need it ?

I have called the police when I saw a drunk neighbor beating his pregnant wife. I didn't have the guts to get in the middle of it, but they did and, of course, she wouldn't press charges. Back in the 80s, if the person wouldn't press charges they couldn't do anything.

Another time I yelled at a kid to leave another kid alone, the one he was picking on had cerebral palsy. When I yelled at him, the babysitter called them to come inside. This was in the 80s too, to this day, I wish I had called the police or grabbed the obnoxious jerk by the throat. He was picking up the crippled boy and throwing him around. (So much for the babysitter doing her job.) The moms of the kids were drug addicts and my neighbors.

Yes and I would kick anyones ass that does that sh1t... anytime no problem.

Been there... done that... got the T-shirt to prove it.

(Sorry makes me angry... saw a friend go through that recently can't wait to bring that boy the smackdown for treating her that way)
