I am pagan, and in part I study wicca. I am familiar with runes and rune readings. My sister was also pagan, she studied tarot cards and tarot readings as well as runes and rune readings (but not limited to). My sister, Amber, passed away on November 14 of 2007. Three days following my 18th birthday. She passed away due to an epilleptic seizure that caused her to collapse and land in a way that blocked her lungs from working properly. She was without oxygen for well over 25 minutes, causing her brain to cease working, therefore she had no brain activity. On the day of her would-be-24th birthday We did a pagan ritual to allow her spirit to go to "the afterlife" and let her rest in peace. We spread her ashes into a lake that she had been her favorite lake to camp near since childhood. I often have dreams of my sister and she keeps telling me that she may be dead but she will still visit me. Those dreams used to creep me out but I have gotten used to them. And since the day we spread her ashes, every dream of her I have she mentions February 10th. It never had a meaning before but now every time I see or hear February 10th, I get shivers up my spine and I think of Amber. MY QUESTION IS: What do you think is significant about February 10th that she could be trying to tell me? What is your opinion? (all opinions are helpful) (and I know that there isn't a way to tell the future so please dont tell me that)

Personally I would go back first before I go forward, and try to remember whether there was anything happening in the past on that specific date. Anything that might have been important to your sister in the past and happened on that date, or perhaps even in your own past.

Well My mom and my sister Candi and my aunt and I have been working on that, so far nothing, but we have been trying and still are trying.

I would suggest considering the full and complete contexts of all the dreams. It is obviously significant that that date occurs repeatedly. But separating it from all context can also result in separating it from some other relevant significance. For example, was the date conveyed in spoken or written form? Might the circumstances indicate that the date indicated a starting or ending time? Might the numbers 2:10 have a completely different, symbolic meaning other than a date?

I favor the idea that the relationships of things in dreams (static as well as dynamic) is of more importance than the objects themselves.

Just some ideas.

These things are usually so personal so it's hard for someone not close to the situation to know. If I were you I would ask your sister to give you more information or clarification to help you understand. flowerforyou

The date itself may not in and of itself be what is important. In chaos there is order. In death there is life. Just going on simple old intuition and empathy if when you think of the date and the "shivers", what is your response to your thoughts of your sister. If the thought of her presence calms you and gives you solace then i would have to conclude that she is trying to let you know that in times of need, concern or dispair that she will be at your side.
Sometimes such assurances are needed. You seek to see or find reason and understanding why Feb. 10 is important? Why should you sisters word of a visit at such be a cause of concern, fear or alarm as indicated by the shivers? That is your real question, one that addresses the fundamental truth the unknown. As pagan you very faith is about questioning and exploring the unknown. The best advice i can give you simply this: Having a reason for your question: What is important about Feb 10? will never reveal to you the truth you seek to understand. That truth can only be realized once you accept whatever may come on that date both your sister and the answers will be waiting. A question sometimes itself needs to be questioned. Will knowing anything about that date make any difference to you and your sister now as much as it will have in meaning and signifance when you experience and discover what it means when it happens? I know it sounds like i am speaking in riddle but i trust you will understand it when you need to understand it. I hope that helps.
