I just bought a new cell phone today and i'd like to transfer data from it to the computer using bluetooth 2.0

the cell phone did not come with any software or any cd-rom or anything like that in the box so i'm wondering if i could and should download some software from the internet.

if so, how do i go about doing that?

To trasmit data via bluetooth both the transmitting (cell phone) and receiving (PC) device need bluetooth capabilities, then it's a matter of pairing the devices together for transfer of data. Normally you do not need software as Windows provides software already and also for cell phones as a built-in feature.
