over a foot of snow in vermont yesterday supposed to get another foot of snow on sunday-sunday night. What's with Vermont, picked up kid in Burlington Friday night, what a trip. Do they usually wait to plow when cars, and trucks are off the road. Good luck with the next storm. |

The ice on the roads is horrible! I was in the truck with Darrel last week and we had solid ice road trucking for two days in TN and KY. It would not be so bad except that some people just do not get the idea that 4-wheel drive does NOTHING on ice...they seem to think that they can drive like maniacs just because they have a 4 wheel drive vehicle!! all the 18-wheelers were driving about 20 mph with their flashers going on every once in awhile a 4 wheeler would buzz past and then end up in the ditch... the ice road trucking gets old very fast!! going through Indy last week was insane!! YUK!! before that we were in New Orleans and Baton Rouge when they got snow...not good! lots of ice on the roads there!! |

By tommorrow it will be cold enough to have actual frost in the morning.....I feel bad for you poor kids getting hammered with the crappy weather. Be safe!
