all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than
to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called "invitation", though sent by a friend, do
not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst
virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the
mostdestructive virus ever.

This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair
yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector
of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept

New Virus Hoax - Olympic Invitation



The "Olympic Invitation" hoax is currently circulating the internet once
again. Seen originally in February 2006, this hoax has returned to our
inbox. Much like the old "Budweiser Frogs" hoax circulated for over
three years, it seems as though this one is set to go the same way.
Virus hoax emails like this are intended to circulate the Internet in a
"chain mail" fashion, providing the originator with the credit within
his/her community. We urge people not to spread the email as it just
assists the progression of the original mail throughout the Internet.

Be careful what you ask for Alex. If Mac's were the #1 computer people
would be writing viruses for them. They're not virus proof.

The only reason they don't get a lot of viruses is because they aren't
as plentiful as IBM-based PC's. If they were the as plentiful they'd
be just as susceptible. Different viruses of course, but people would
write them. The only reason people don’t write viruses for macs now is
because they aren't as plentiful and so viruses don’t spread among them
very well.

the best thing to do is keep in mind that most of the time, any mail
that asks you to forward to all your friends, etc. is a hoax or the
letter itself is a virus.
The best thing you can do if worried, is contact microsoft, apple, or
any of the other big name sompanies and ask thema bout it. They will
know before anyone else if it is for real or not.
And the best bit of advise with email is, if you do not know hwo it is
coming from, dont open it.

The majority of these viruses programs are created by ex-hacker geniuses
hired by both McAFREe and Microsoft in order to seller more anti-virus
or firewall, or internet securtiy programs in a couple of weeks or month
time if this virus is true they are working on mass production of the
solution.

My antivirus work fine on it's own.

Noone should be sending, and forwarding these chain letters.

I delete all of them.

Any reputable anti virus and spyware software will update. they don't
send scare tactic letters...
