its STILL snowing but its warming up out side its ZERO DEGREES!! thats not to bad , I had to get all the snow off my car and release the frozen christmas presents from my car they have been frozen in the trunk of my car for over a week yay!! my trunk is no longer frozen shut an the presents are tucked away in the closet I can do some wrapping now ...well when every one is sleeping ....
made cookies OMG!! DUH!! hands COVERED in cookie dough reach for the tap an relize OMFG DUH!! how ya gonna wash yur hands !???!

Why I don't help "adults" fix winter things.

Last year I helped a pal thaw out frozen pipe, put in pipe wrap, and cut out broken pipe and replace it.
All during extreme cold.
So...we got it working...and left water drizzling at the far end of the mobile home, to keep it from freezing up. Put space heater under the mobile home, to warm things up, and also a heater in the kitchen, with the under-counter doors open, to keep it thawed out.
Next day...the very next evening...idjit woman closed the cupboards. She HAD to do laundry, so she pulled the plug on the heater and plugged in her clothes iron...and never plugged the heater back in.
And she took a shower, of course, but then never left the water drizzling in the shower when she was done.
And never said a word to anybody.
Next morning...
...no water. Everything's frozen again. Pipes are splitting.

My buddy doesn't take being embarrassed very well.
He dislikes apologizing, even more.
It was time for us to both slam a few drinks, and just not talk about the obvious.
Poor guy.

So...I invite him to move in with me, on the condition that he leaves those problems out of my hair.
Two nights ago, he gets a call from the hospital. The old gal had a heart attack.
While she's in the hospital, guess what's going on with her mobile home, while the freezing wind is blowing?
