hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the "toni"!!!! I used to perm my hair alot too. Too control my hair.....until I discovered bleach straightens the hair!!!

Here's what I had to do when I had frozen pipes in my shoebox mobilehome......I had to get a heater. Preferrably propane gas. I got a 30,000 btu remington blast heater at the hardware store. It costs around 75 bucks. Then I had to buy a propane cylinder new- 50 bucks. It was 25 bucks to fill it for the first time. Make sure you tell the guy filling it that its a new tank so it can be purged. Then I had to peel the skirting off the mobilehome where the water goes in. Then I had to peel back the heat tape. Then fire up that heater and warm the whole area where the water comes into the trailer. And I learned a new one also. Get a trouble light at the hardware store and some 150 watt bulbs. Screw a bulb into the trouble light and lower it down into the hole where the water pipe comes out of the ground. Where the water pipe comes out of the ground is where the water freezes in the pipes. The lightbulb close to the ground keeps that area warm enough to prevent freezing in that area. Yeah a whole sh!tload of fun!!! If you haven't did anything- you'd best dig all that snow away from that area where your water comes in as a courtesy. I would hate to have the first 3 plumbers show up and look at that snow and say "F*ck you- I'm not shoveling". Or worse charge you 85 dollars an hour to shovel your snow to get to that frozen pipe. A little courtesy to the guy with the plumbers crack will help you in the long run with dividends back!

85 dollars an hour. 300 bucks. More if he's gotta shovel snow.

If he can't get the pipe unthawed he may disconnect it and force hot water down it with a pump. If I was you I'd turn on a fawcett just a little. So the pipes don't freeze further. They may open on their own. I would have ran outside as soon as I knew they froze with my johnson heating blanket and shoved that heating blanket in that hole!!!

I do have a tap on slightly but no water is coming out, not even a drip. I DONT KNOW ABOUT THESE THINGS!!!! I dont even know what a heat tape looks like!!!!
