She sits and ponders,
wanders around in her head
some half truth
a mystery
weak,
but painful enough instead,
so why bother,
why let it linger here
like acid trips on lacerated memories
why trip at all, she thinks,
those two never gave me an inch,
a chain can choke a simple mind
if it is linked with others,
but choke yourself
and its the vine
that flows from within
the one with the grapes,
you know that one,
it strangles everyone
every now and than,
so whip it
trip it,
snuff it out,
ain't no doubt
it's gonna come back
because when you can't forget it
your still
unforgiven.
