My personal opinion is that age is just a number, and if two people like each other, it's nobody else's business. To me, not dating someone because of their age is like saying you wouldn't date someone because they had the wrong shoe size or the wrong social security number or something. But -- disclaimer -- I don't have any kids to use as a thematic "boundary line." I still don't get that whole thing, though. Dating someone your kid's age is NOT the same thing as dating your own kid, right? Or is it? I don't know. I don't have any kids, so I guess I'll never understand where that comes from!
