I would love a full head of hair, and I think about getting grafts from time to time. Then I see the guys that have had it done where it didn't work so good. I pointed one guy out at the video store, and my daughter busted out laughing. About a month ago I saw a Dr. at work, his head is shaved and he has these little scars on the lower back side of his head, like from ear to ear almost. Turns out those are the scars from the donor sites, and his hair graft failed.
Bummer, big time.
So I guess I'll be happy just the way things are.

Yikes! Thats horrible. Luckily Ive always had a decent head of hair. It grows really easily anyway. I know some women have female pattern baldness and that must suck! A woman's hair is her crowning glory. If I had that problem I would start looking into options.

I could see if a person was born with a drastic birth defect or suffered a trauma but to avoid natural ageing I see it as really much more of a risk than the extream cost for a temporary improvement. Many procedures actually make you look worse as you age. I think banking the money to have a sense of security or investing it in something lasting like a home or education would make for an more content and attractive person.

Jocelyn is a wealthy socialite whose husband began cheating on her. To win him back she began undergoing plastic surgery to transform into a giant cat. Her husband likes big cats. Naturally.

Didn’t work however, and her husband said “She seems to think that you fix a face the same way you fix a house”.

Yeah, that's my position, too. I'd rather buy something nice for myself than pay to be cut up. Ugh...

i wouldn't mind a little shot of botox right between my brows.

but, personally speaking, i think women who attempt to keep themselves looking very young, wind up looking way worse than if they'd aged gracefully.

I don't like surgery so I'd never do it. Plus it costs too much. If I could afford it, I'd spend the money on something else.

Its also painful from what I hear. Its no walk in the park and there is a substantial recovery time but it depends how much work you have done all at once or which procedures. Anything on the face will probably be pretty intense pain wise. .

I had my eyes done on Friday and back at work on Tuesday. If you follow the instructions given you will be fine. 3 days later no one could tell I had just had surgery (but the day after I looked bad!!)

I think any Dr. that would agree to do that kind of surgery should loose their license as abuse of a mentally ill person.
