Yes I find depression hitting me alittle harder this year than in previous years. Since I lost my job, economics and not knowing what's in my future has been kicking my ass. I do try and pull myself up, but honestly there are days I just want to give up. 
I know exactly how you feel. Got laid off again from my job, but thankfully my family will all be here Christmas day so that will help. My son also loves the lights and gets excited when I turn on his Christmas tree. He is what keeps me going.

Only thing depressed for me this year is the first time that I won't be spending Christmas morning with my daughter. :( At least I'll see her in the afternoon. :)
