hmmm...... well Im not looking to 'forget to breathe' or to 'not live without him' or any of that stuff... I want something down to earth and real... if I'm looking for someone, it's someone I'm comfortable with after the thrill of the new-ness of the relationship is over.. but.. that doesn't mean not doing sweet things for each other and having fun, he still has to make me happy...

I think realistically the first thrill of boy meets girl doesn't last long at all. So I have to ask are you talking about the honeymoon period or are you talking about years down the road.Big difference.

I look at a relationship like building a fire. You can do it rather quickly and catch paper on fire and it is going to go out rather quickly without any wood. I am more of one that will build my fire starting with tinder and slowly feed it till there are some great coals there for when it gets kind of chilly in the room. Every relationship will go through cycles.
