Yesterday I started to move furniture around, and basically throw things out that I don't need.
I found that the hardest part, knowing, that when I throw it out, I will want or need it.
Today, browsing in my favorite bookshop, I found a "Clearing the Clutter, Purification kit".
Many people would call it coincidence, but I don't. I know it was calling for me, because I never go there on a Sunday.
Now I can't wait until I have finished with everything so I can use it.

There is an internal lightening that happens when we lighten the external isn't there...

I am still in the midst of that ... sorting nearly complete ... now just to actually get the stuff out of my home - that is when it will feel lighter here I think. I'm getting a little worn out working around piles of stuff ...

I know the feeling.

I had all cables neatly on a pile in the middle of the room, only one silly plug sticking out, and I had to walk on that one without shoes. Now I can barely walk.

Tomorrow is rubbish collection. The sooner I get the things I don't want out, the better, or I just start to put them back.

The rubbish is out but there are many things that need to find homes ... either donation or consignment.

I really should have finished this long ago ... now it turned cold and snowed so I am even less motivated ... as if less motivated were possible ...

In time to come I might face the same problem. Giving away stuff that is too good to throw away, but is simply not suitable for the new home. I'm not looking forward to that.

It is just 'stuff' luv ... use it, enjoy it ... but don't let it own you ....

First I have to finish my course, which will last until the end of February, and then we will touch this topic again. Before that there is no point in even thinking of it.

I looked up the book on the Internet but can't seem to find an American supplier. It appears to only be sold in the UK.

From what I've read it comes with a singing bowl, a smudging wand, and a Fuji Doll.

I'm just wondering if you got all those things with the 'kit'.

I did find the official website of the Author and she seems to have a lot of similar book including on called "Crystal Energy".

My sister sue told me that clutter will zap your physical energy. So if you need more energy start clearing clutter.

My house is cluttered.. lots of junk. The older we get the harder it is to throw things away it seems...

Anyway, I spend an entire day cleaning and detailing my car, trunk and all. For three days when I layed down to rest, my mind settled on my clean and organized car, and avoided thoughts of my cluttered house. For some reason, the thoughts of my uncluttered car allowed me to rest better.

Perhaps that is what an uncluttered house will do for me, and if so, then perhaps that is why you will have more energy with an uncluttered house, because you will relax and rest better.

All the more reason for me to get this done ... your sister is right ... it is exhausting

Visualize an uncluttered house and see if you can attract it to yourself.

I've been trying that for several months now. No luck.

I think I'm going to have to get out the broom and garbage bags and do it the old-fashioned way.
