My cousin owns a vehicle boneyard. He has a 55-gallon drum over in the corner of the shop as a trashcan. Boldly painted on the side, it reads, "Ford parts."

Personally, I think it's a matter of familiarity and purpose.
For example, my philosophy on what makes a truck useful precludes short-stroke, short-wide, step-side, slammed or excessively lifted. ...A quick-revving 302 might be great for someone who prefers disappointing ricers, as long as they don't need torque, can keep it cool, upgrade the wiring and get a Borg Warner transmission. Dodge > Chevy >Ford |
