Hi all, just had a question. How many women on here have been approached by these con artists trying to get some money out of you? It's the strangest thing to see how they operate. They email you a couple of times and then try and get money out of you. I'm like WTF!!!! Are you serious?!?! Their language skills are terrible and they try and say that they are college educated. I guess your wondering why I'm saying they...it's because I believe it was different people emailing me from the same account. You could tell by the sentence structure. I knew the person was lying from some questions I asked.

Anybody else have this to happen to them?

I seem to have a bunch of them lately, guess the flashing neon "kick me" sign on my back is working really well. I do believe the latest two were the same one. One jerk told me he bought me a diamond ring, we had only talked a couple of weeks, I knew he was a scammer, just wanted to see how his game unfolded, then he asked me for money 7 days after my dad died. Told him sorry, no money, gotta pay for the funeral, etc. Then a couple of days later his account is closed and new guy writes me and starts his scam, only he asks for money about a week later, told him nope, same story. Swear they are the same dude. Different story, pics, etc. Have been approached by several lately, I talk to them out of curiosity, to see how their game plays out. Can usually spot them in the first e-mail. Met these two off another site, but have had several off here write me lately, so beware. Take care.

I've had more than one person from online lie and/or con me into lending them money, paying their way, providing concrete services, or supporting them to one extent or another. I'm not in a financial position where I could have afforded it, either. Anyone can get conned, no matter how bright, street smart, or experienced you are. Trusting someone I meet online is going to come as a rarity from now on. Being taken advantage of? Never again.

Edited to say, this wasn't right away. It was after knowing them real time for a few weeks or a month or so in one case and about a year in another case. It taught me a hard lesson.
