Kyle has the talent, he just lacks the maturity to go with it. He is very careless but sure "Bucks up" when it is put to him. Im glad he crashed and burned in the chase. After that Busch race with Steven Wallace. He started it on the track and Wallace just showed he was not happy about it. Steven is a big boy and would put a hurtin on ol lil shrub!!! He was messing with Hornaday in the trucks! That boy wouldnt stand a chance!!!

Harvick is a good driver and good for the sport. I wish they would show the video of him and Carl going at it in the Busch garage!!!!

Daytona is getting closer and I cant wait. Talk about a weekend end!!! Anyone who dosnt understand should go! It is so much more than "Just turning left"!!!!

Once a person understands the sport and has a driver they pull for then it becomes addictive. They no longer care if the cars go in a circle. There is so much more to the sport than turning left. Watching these cars on the big track utilizing the draft and having an understanding of how the draft work only adds to the excitment.

Several years ago when Davey Allison was alive and Ernie Ervin still raced they both wound up having to pit early at Talladega loosing the draft and together they hooked up, utilizing the draft and ran the leaders down. Poetry in motion to watch those two, bumper to bumper, weave in and out of traffic.

I race on line on the play station and working the draft is fun. Me and a friend down the street will write tickets(What we say) at Talladega and Daytona. When we hook up we are unbeatable. If one gets in trouble the other would fall back and and pick them up. Dale Sr said he could see the air...It is an art thats for sure.

The smaller tracks like Bristol and Martinville are just as exciting. You really have to see a race in person to fully understand what it takes to win one.

I think one to keep an eye on is David Rutiman. Even at MWR he is making himself known..In practice he seems to stay around the top 10 at most tracks..

California and Vegas are our biggest out here. There is a group of us here who area ble to make the Vegas race occasionally. I have friends in Cali who invite me out there every year I just never seem to be able to get there.

Before Pikes Peak just soth of Colorado Springs closed my sons and i were able to catch the Busch and IRL races. Those Busch cars put on a pretty exciting show there. especially when Biffle was racing the series full time. To use a word Darrell Waltrip like to use, Biffle came off the fourth turn every lap "slideways"

It will be interesting to see how deep the recession will affect the field. When was the last time 43 cars were not fieled?

The Biff likes to drive a loose car thats for sure. That's what makes him so good on the mile and half tracks. He sure owns Homestead!!!

I remember the days when the starting field was just 36 cars on the smaller tracks. Been along time now that the field has had 43 cars. I think we will see the 43 car field but they are going to be made up of the power house teams. I don't think we will see many single car teams for to much longer. Hell even the die hard determined Robby Gordon has signed on with another owner so he can be part of a multi-car team. Single car teams just can't compete at this level

I agree with you there. With the Busch switching to the COT, I think you will see the same there and that series could see less than 43..

Jr made a comment a while back about the cost in the Busch series and switching to the cot. I really thought he would swith Jr Motoersports to the cup level considering all the Hendrick influence. Havnt heard anything but that they laide off employees

It will be interesting to see what happens this year. How many teams actually show up for the 500 and then continue to run the entire year.

I would like to have seen the COT's in the Busch series this year but if I'm thinking right I think there suppose to start in 2010? I might be wrong.

"tentatively in place for the 2009 Nationwide Series season" What ever that means????

Jr was talking about the costs to switch to the COTs and said the cost would be in line with a cup car. That was 3 or 4 months ago. I just figured with Hendrick already involved with Jr Motorsports they would just field a couple more cars in the cup. 2009 has the 4 car cap for owners. So Rouchs 5th car will be running under "Yates" I would guess.

Those owners have ways of getting around the rules. I'm not sure I agree with allowing an owner to get othere teams into the series using other owners names. I think NASCAR really need to look at that so that some of these single and two car teams have a chance to compete.

Jr has some valid points about the cost of running a team. I heard some of that interview.

It will be interesting to see Stewart/Hass next year. I think there should be a 3 car rule but with all the merging who is what team anyway. Hendrick provides motors for many teams. Many mergers!!!! I heard Aflac is giving 75 million for 3 years with Carl. Dammmm

I don't think Stewart is going to do so good this year. His temper might distact him if don't keep it under control. And we all know Stewart has a real short fuse.

Carl better run really good this year for that kind of money. Honestly I don't know how long the sport can continue going like it is when it takes that kind of money to run a team.

Yea it is getting out of hand but is the best advertizing if you think about all tee, hats, diecasts and the hundreads of other things drivers have their name on...Those things last way beyond the yearly commitment,,
