ok, I have been doing the online dating thing for a long time, and i would like to finally get it right... I am looking for the one...not casual sex... I keep getting a lot of responses from young kids...20somethings that are looking for sex...Or, even worse, the ones that lie to me and tell me they want something serious and then end up being cheaters and liers... How can i appeal to men that are mature and looking for a long-term relationship? Is it something in the way i present myself? Is it because I am so open and honest that they know how to convince me? I don't belong to singles.net so I won't go there. But this profile on here is very good and to the point, well written and thought out.
I can understand your dismay. We all get hit on by the wrong ones along with some right ones. It's not so much about you if you are as you write, but them. There are many people who take advantage of nice, good people simply because it's their nature and THEY CAN!! Don't let that stop you from being yourself. Best wishes!!

I have learned that you have to get to the point, in what you are looking for, some people may take it for being something else it's people like that are only after one thing. Just say what you feel and be yourself there are peeople on here that really know what you are looking for and Im sure they know what is in your heart. I myself don't judge people I go by the feeling that I know is deep with in there heart.

Had I read any profiles, I would've known that Jill moved to Morris from the Quad Cities. She likes to travel, listen to music, see concerts, watch movies, and likes sports. She has a daughter, but she has never married. She's 5' 7" tall, is employed as a hotel manager, smokes, and occasionally tips an elbow with an adult beverage. I also would've known that you had been saved by Jesus, are a faithful church-goer, and you love kids, especially since you have 4 of your own (3 boys and 1 girl). You work as a church daycare teacher, you enjoy watching and supporting the Houston Astros, you like horses, bowling, fishing, and camping. You are still very accepting of people (although your bitterness tends to overshadow it, particularly towards men), despite the fact that you've suffered through 4 failed marriages. You are 5' 6" tall, you do not smoke or drink. I would've known all this, if only I had taken the time to read profiles. |
