Imagination's Treasure
Remembered days of playful youth, Where thoughts had catered To imagination's many dawns. Wondrous adventures began here, Where one's imaginings Became life for a time. Can you tell me Where they all went And why these memories lay in ruin? Perhaps they were spent as a cycle Or maybe maturity has wrought it's price, Upon the growing youth to adult. Where have the keepers fled Of adventures past And wonders still unknown? Have they all grown too old To uphold the joy of youth, Once unbound Within their once brilliant hearts? Remember the sounds Imagination brought, Through the mind of the beholders. Seek within the heart buried deep And unravel the ties that bind. For if you're never too old To hide the thoughts Of imaginations past, The youthful heart of the adventurer Shall find what joy Was never forgotten Within the treasures Collected in time.
