SO WHY WOULD THEY AGREE TO HEAR THE FOLLOWING CASE?

On December 5, 2008 the United States Supreme Court is expected to meet to review a case being brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the secretary of state in New Jersey, which challenges whether or not Barack Obama is a "natural-born citizen" and thus qualified under the U.S. Constitution's to become president.

Ironically Donofrio’s suit also claims that Sen. John McCain’s name should not have been on the election ballot for the same reason.
The case, which was unsuccessful at the state level, is not expected to find much success with the Supreme Court. However if four of the nine justices vote to hear the case in full, oral argument may be scheduled.

It has been posted several times. You neglected to mention that so far, all the rest of the suits against them on this issue have been thrown out of court. Which is why all the appeals to get to that level of court. It just means it is almost over.

The SCOTUS considered this matter and declined to hear the appeal.

So, the case was dismissed without comment. For you conspiracy freaks out there this is not unusual. The court receives many appeals every year. Wiki (sorry for using that as a reference) estimated they receive about 7,000 a year.

They did not agree to hear it. They received the appeal but declined to hear it.

Yeah I've heard about this myself. Interesting how nothing been done to investigate this case. It's unconstitutional to elect a president who wasn't born in USA. It's either the constitution doesn't count, or this is an illegal government. Whatever...this world is so upside down, it's amazing. I liked Ron Paul, the only guy who made and still makes sense to me.

Nobody is hearing the case in court because it HAS been investigated. The allegations are bogus.

Actually we have had multiple threads on this, the reason you don't see them is that they quickly turn into hateful exchanges of propaganda & name calling & get deleted.

Officials from the State of Hawaii have certified the authenticity of the birth certificate.

Cases that have been brought have been dismissed for various reasons including lack of standing and lack of merit.

This issue comes up again and again on this board.

It gets ugly every time.

Only a very few people are pushing it.And its not making it far.They are doing it to get attention and to smear the President, and some of them are mentally imbalanced.

Hasn't the guy that's pushing it done this to numerous people? I think he even tried for McCain.
