As for the original question -- I always figure it's best not to rush into anything. Take your time and get to know people; don't believe everything you hear -- some people will tell you what they think you WANT to hear!

Don't let the bad ones persuade you that there are no good ones. There must still be some good ones left. Simple math will back me up on that, even if real people won't.

Know what you want, and what you DON'T want. Very important.

But being a bad girl is so much more fun!
