Love would mean finding someone accually worthy of my presance. Yeah sounds kinda conceded, shallow, and arrogant, but at the same time isn't that what it's all about?? Finding someone who completes who we are?? Let's face it, we all want someone attractive, funny, rich and hopelessly devoted right?? :) Just my two cents.

I think some of what we think is love at first sight is lust blindness. It tends to last for 6 months, so don't get married before that time is up...I speak from experience.
What is love to me? It's part of a stanza to a poem I posted here. "How you look, arms above me Staring down, right through me You see all that I am not And love me anyway" |

Love is...........
1- choosing to be by there side despite the fact there are things you don't like about them 2- being supportive in good times and bad 3- when being angry all you think about is kissing (i.e. mental substitutions allowed) them anyways 4- knowing that when you get old you want this person by your side 5- trust 6- understanding 7- knowing that person would do anything for you at any moment 8- wanting to see that person smile everyday 9- communication 10- and the list goes on.......... but the definition of love is in the based on the individual belief system |
