So...what was the purpose of this drive out into the middle of nowhere? well I was thinking about how cool the trees look and word on the street is that the moon looks bigger tonight...? so I went to check it out |

there are houses that line the streets for the most part but it doesn't go beyond that the road that is on the other side of the river goes down the other side of the valley that Eagle River is in houses line that road too but it dead ends about 12 miles up once you get about 5 miles out of town on either side of the valley each home is on at least two acres That's a lot of land for each home - two acres. |

And how fast were you going? depends on the road the speed limit up skyline is 30 or 35 I think but I was well below because it is steep and there are a few switchbacks. on ER road it's 45 then 55 then back to 45 and I was going about 5 miles under, again because of the weather |
