I would like to start a dialog about people with people ! Would you not like to know why people do the things they do ? Well lets ask them ! This would be a good way to find out about people and how WE think ! Lets talk............: I will ask the first question > What makes a person jealous ? Is it different things for different people or is it the same things for all? and by the way how will I know if someone responds to this question ?

Really don't know anything about jealousy; it's one character flaw I can honestly say I do not have. I just know that jealousy doesn't look pretty on anyone.

My opinion, such as it is, on jealousy. Some people become jealous out of their own insecurity. They don't feel they are worthy, and believe someone or everyone else is. This can be made worse when they have been proved right in the past.

It is not an attractive trait, however the appearance that you don't care at all can be just as detrimental.

I totally agree with you about the jealousy thing and have had people get mad because I am not. There impression is that i dont care.

Where there is trust in a relationship. And one feels secure about theirself there is no reason to have jealousy.. I cant say that I have jealousy really .. well once i did I remember after my father passed < I was 22 yrs old> I worked in a grocerystore back then as a checkout clerk... and I remember the people coming in shopping with their parents and they were 40 or 50 and their parents were older I'd think why not me? why? why did not my father deserve to live older? I dont know that it was jealousy but envy perhaps wishing i could have that and how lucky they were, and thinking how i hipe they cherished what they had..

then there is the woman catfight type jealousy to me unreal sure I'd like to be pretty but because that woman over there is prettier doesnt mean im worthless etc... and some women take it out on a beautiful woman i think it is so stupid.... I say lets go talk to her too maybe she is a grand person.... just as the homely person over there is... what really is the difference?

Jealousy comes from insecurity.

I quit drama in high school. Jealousy is sinful. Don't do no good. You're prone not to be jealous if you like yourself, take pride in your accomplishments, and appreciate what you have.

The reason I have ask this question about jealousy is because after 28 years of marriage my then wife because of jealousy walked out of the relationship !Jealous of What ? All women . Worst of all my Mom was at the top of the list Go figure ! So this is why I ask just what is jealousy and how and why its so powerful to cause people to be so extreme in their judgements to the point of causing so much pain to others.????????????????????????????????????????
