I like the older movies better. While they can be quite primitive when it comes to special effects,
they seem to have more plot, dialogue, and story development.......

........that's my opinion, anyway.......

I love older movies. They had better stories, dialogue, plot, and most importantly, ACTING! I can't stand alot of the new crap coming from moving companies lately. Its the same crap over and over for the last 10 years rant

I agree !...most of what they make now...is all about slapping together a shallow love interest...with a few explosions...and of course...car chases and crashes...pretty predictable stuff !...the best movies in my opinion were produced in the 30's...

Me, too!

<<<< AMC and TCM buff, especially on Sundays.

You just do not find movies being made today like they did back in the '30's, '40's, and '50's. The gorgeous outfits, the immensely elaborate sets....a perfect example is "White Christmas" (1954).

Ok, I have to say for absolutly sure, at the age of 8, watching that movie on cable television with no sensorism was one of the most horrific movies I ever watched, I don't think I really got over it until around my late 20's!!!! grumble grumble mad  explode sick rant huh
