i have been getting mail at my home address for someone for awhile now, and i would just send it back unknown person.
well today i got a post card for a friendly reminder from the dentist office in that person name. but get this.. the dentist that sent the card in that other person name.. happens to be my dentist... so im going to call them on monday and let them know... i found this to be very odd.. |

If you don't know this person, they may be using your address (and worse, name and social security number) as a decoy for bill collectors, setting up new accounts, etc. |

When I was living with my ex bf, we would get mail for other people at his address. What was funny was that the had been living there since Dec 2001. It kept going on. I think its still happening.
No postcard from a mutual company. Like you had. I think that we started getting mail there like a year after he was in the apt. |

i remember one yr i was gone as i was at my moms and i checked my message and i got a strange phone called from the cardealer ship that wasent very far from me. as some guy was trying to buy a car and he used my phone number. so yea i called them to let them know i had no idea who that guy was.

yeah I mean.. if you live there.. and you use that dentist.. cause he is in the area and its convenient. it would make sense that someone else that lived there used that dentist also..
it's like people who are amazed you have the same birthday.. there are 300 million people in the united states.. but only 365 days in the year.. |

How long have you been living there? i have been living here for almost 2yrs and i started getting that person mail maybe 6months or so ago. but then i also have been getting the people that used to live here mail and had called the landlord once and she picked it up so i dont know what she did with that... and i tracked down the dentist email and i email them but if i dont hear anything on monday i will call them anyhow |

yeah I mean.. if you live there.. and you use that dentist.. cause he is in the area and its convenient. it would make sense that someone else in the area uses that dentist also.. it's like people who are amazed you have the same birthday.. there are 300 million people in the united states.. but only 365 days in the year.. yea but we dont have the same first or last name and im sure they didnt even think about it |

You wanna know what is weird???? There is a woman in this town with the exact same name and birthdate as me but different years. Everywhere I go I have to confirm myself so Im not getting billed for her.
She even goes to the same tanning place!!!

its probably computer generated reminders sent out yearly to say its time for your next appointment.. there isn't a secretary picking out through the names and dates to say.. hey these match... the person is still in the system and never bothered to tell them they moved I would bet

You wanna know what is weird???? There is a woman in this town with the exact same name and birthdate as me but different years. Everywhere I go I have to confirm myself so Im not getting billed for her. She even goes to the same tanning place!!! i had a old bf that had to prove who he was with his ss number for there was another guy with the same name middle intial and lastname he used to get that guys mail. and there was one time we went to rent a movie and we were talking about names and the guy at that was helping us mention he knew somone that had his ss messed up for it was off by one number of the other person. |

Ok.. speaking of names.. you can see my first name is Samara.. which is rather unique.. and I wont say my last name.. anyway.. I was working part time one day in a store and a woman walked in with her son and daughter.. turns out the daughter was named Samara and the son's first name was my last name.. I really thought that was cool...
