Did Vangelis do the "Bladerunner" score? Yep. It's fantastic  Yeah. I had not thought of that in years until you said that name. The music in that movie was awesome.

My fave modern composers: Jean Michel Jarre, Trent Reznor, Vangelis & Micheal Cretu. I dig alot of Reznor's work bro but the remix of Broken...you know..."Fixed" wasn't my bag...not sure how much heroin he was wacked out on but...Dude....not good! I know what you mean. "Screaming Slave"??! Sounds like a bunch of guys raping a mixing desk

Being into most stringed instruments and always getting into aolian modes I'd have to say vivaldi. He was so far ahead of his time and a perfectionist. I keep finding scores I've written in minor and 7th augmented and remind myself that I'm influenced by vivaldi.
