Why were you being chased by an ostridge?

Too many good memories to pick just one. A lot are associated with
riding my bike though. Also watching movies, drinking tea and eating ice
cream with my dad when I was little.

Bev, I was helping a friend move from Winnipeg to Edmonton and we
stopped at his uncle's farm in Saskatchewan. I didn't know they had
ostriches. I went in to a paddock that I assumed was empty to look at an
old tractor and there they were. They came running faster than I could
ever imagine!! I headed for the fence in a hurry. Kind of an unfriendly
looking creature.
