Why do people find it neccesary to start a string with a question. And wen u give an answer they argue with u to the end about ur answer. Do they just like contoversy.

Because the question doesn't necessarily mean "I want your opinion" -- it could mean "You have to agree with me." Some people can't function without meaningless validation from total strangers. Others actually WANT answers. It doesn't take long to figure out who's who.

When I start threads.... I ask the question and if people answer, that's fine. However, if they answer in a way that piques my curiosity, I will occasionally play " Devil's Advocate " and argue a bit about it just to see if they can clarify things.
