Topic: My kids peeked | |
---|---|
My oldest and I went out to do a little x mas shopping and my boys 15 & 11 decided to investigate. My daughter knew because they moved a candle in her room and put one of the gifts back the wrong way. (They forgot about her ocd traits) I'm so glad that everything was already wrapped! Except for thier new comforters. Why do they want to ruin the surprise???

kids can't help it
the suspense is just too much for em I peeked when I was a kid and my parents got mad and took all the presents I saw back and my Christmas was ruined. I never peeked again |

Fix 'em good....don't give 'em anything!
That'll learn 'em. |

my sister used to do the same thing and then tell us what we were getting for Christmas. My parents hid a stereo at the next door neighbors and when they snuck it in Christmas night she was down there peeking and ruined the surprise.I hate people who shake gifts too. Some people just can't handle the suspense.
Me,I love it. Anyway the boys probally wanted to see how many gifts they got lol |

I never peeked again I guess the suspense was to much...I am just surprised they had the nerve to go in thier sisters room and not be more careful! |

I started wraping gifts by number, so no one knew what belonged to who. then I kept the list with me.

I never peeked again I couldn't help it and RUINED a great Christmas gift surprise one year. I told my kids that story when they were little and now they are like the present nazi's...no touching, no shaking, no peeking, no rearranging the gifts under the tree and NO opening anything early for Christmas, birthday or any other time! I created MONSTERS! Gotta love it, though! |

They won't know whose is whose! Maybe next year if I remember...too late this year. Ty for the idea! |

Yeah, that IS a clever idea. I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever find myself in the position of buying gifts for a large amount of people again.

I'm getting coal and wrapping it...maybe I'll even hide the real stuff and let them sweat it out awhile on x mas morning haha

My daughter used to shake her presents, so one year I put broken glass in several of them, she thought she had broken something .
I never had that problem again |

I used to take the gifts to someone elses house until christmas..but my kids are teens and tweens now. I thought I could trust them for a couple hours. Guess not. |
