google BYKI you can down load the learners for free and if you want upgrade from there - the free one will give you alot of basic words and some phrases with very good fillipino pronunciation. thats what i use going to retire there next year. so its good to know a little anyway. BYKI stands for Before You Know It - you'll be speaking tagalog.

hello, kumusta?
Tagalog = Mahirap! I am just a simple Dutch from Holland and know only a few words Tagalog; just to say 'hi' and 'how are you'... Better is to ask one of the Pinay here above! "magsipagpagawa" Salamat po! The oldschool dictionary is a solution, i do have a big one; but it stays Mahirap for a white boy! Or; do it yourself! There are a few good online translators on the internet; many languages can be translated direct! Even I 'talk' Arab, Vietnamese or Greek with other people online using the pc! (download from ww.imtranslator, net) Oh, 1 tip: i do copy-paste the translation and translate it back again in my own language, to be sure its no bad words!) okie; succes! Greetings from Holland! Walang anuman! Ollande Guwapo ako |

A million words would not bring you back, I know because I've tried, neither would a million tears, I know I've cried.
