I have dated off my own beliefs a few times. I usually do not ask what
religion someone is unless it comes up, or I feel like there may be a chance of coming together. I am open to learning from someone elses beliefs. But, I claim no particular religion. Non Denom here. Kat |

I made the horrible mistake of dating a Pentecostal Evangelist. I
thought it would be fun. Ya know, lively thought provoking debates on meaty-ideas. Wrong. Still, I thought it would be fun to marry her too. Wrong. So, here I sit divorced being labeled as "satan possessed", "non-beleiver", by her AND her church-group. Yes, the church group made a 'group' decision that an "un-even yoke" was a problem for her spiritual path. It's all become a weird-culty-ness that is impossible to rationalize. I'm currently taking applications for a new GF, and I'm an equal-oppurtunity guy: Hindu, Jewish, Wiccan, and Catholics are encourage to apply. Born-again, and Clueless Secuarlists need not apply. |
