i just found out that the doctors think my baby girl may have diabetes i
am not shour how to deal with this and i wont know for a couple of weeks anybody got any advice for me ???? |

sorry to hear that hottie about your wee one. Surely, they can tell you something sooner then 2 weeks. With all the state of the art testing they have today they can pretty much tell you within 24 hours, especially if they are looking at her glucose levels. You will not love her any less I'm sure if she did have this disease and as her Mom it will up to you to monitor what she eats, makes sure gets her medication etc. If you ever need to talk just look me up. |

Hi. Yes, first of all, don't panic. My son was diagnosed with diabetes 6
years ago, when he was 9. While it can be scary at first, it is manageable. He lives a normal life, with very little restrictions. There have been so many improvements over the years in treating this. I suggest you do some research to learn all about it. Start with the Diabetes Association. They have some great info. thank you cat and i thought that 2 weeks is a long time too and when i
asked why so long i did not get an answere but my little girl seems so healthy i dont see how thats whats wrong i took her to the doctor because i thought she may have had a blader infection and i was told that she dose not but they did think that there is a problem. but shes 18 months and weighs 32pounds i think shes healthy a litte over weight but she was when she was born. but thank you |

Just found out that my baby girl is border line her sugar runs a little
hi and if we cant bring it down she well be put on meds to controll it. i am so worried about her shes just a baby. any one got any advice on what foods would be good for her and what not to give. are family doctor never realy said what to do to help her keep er sugars down were they need to be. |
