Does having a Mingle2 profile now put a profile on facebook, too? I got a friends request from someone on facebook and I didn't have a facebook profile. When I got into the account, it had information about Mingle2 on it.

i have facebook but i never saw anything in there based on mingle2
i have several email accounts and i have noticed a number of times of someone asking a request on one of my emails as where i dont even use on facebook...

Hmm, I'm on face book all the time, but I have not seen it, I have not looked for it either.

I don't think I had ever even looked at facebook! I got two emails. One said I had a friends request, the other said I had a message. Bot were from the same person. When I clicked on the link, it took me to the facebook sign in page. It asked for email address and password, I don't have a password so I reset it. It let me do it. I signed in and that's when I saw the Mingle2 info.
I'm always afraid of a scam or virus or something, Just thought I would ask.

Creating an account on Mingle2 should not automatically create an account on facebook, no. We do have a facebook page, of course, as you can see here:
