It's pretty hard for me to find happy thoughts with Christmas only a month away. Saddest time of the year for me. Worse part of it is,it doesn't get easier with each coming year.I'll just try and make the best of it again this year. Yeap go for the possitive push away that negative stuff. I'm not a big happy happy Christmas person. Different when the kids were young. I fine something that interest me though or go with flow what ever pops up or over. :)

For me happiness is waking up each morning the last 16-1/2 half years sober and remembering where I came from and knowing that if I try to control the uncontrollable I can be drunk again. Happiness is the love of child who thinks "you are neat". Happiness is knowing I don't have to go through bad time (like now) alone -- that people really do love me.

I don't have any grankids, but my new baby grand nephew is the next best thing.Ilove spoiling him so much.Happiness for me is getting one of those adorable toothless grins! He is 6mos. old already

Wait till that baby is born. Grandkids make you rethink xmas. Just talked to her they're are going to induce Monday if the baby isn't born by then Dec 1st that is a good day :)

Good luck to her Carol. No grandkids here. Not even a twinkle in anyone's eye. The thing that keeps me going are the great kids I work with and seeing my teenage neice and nephew occasionally.

Happiness to me is waking up when the sun is shining! It is the joy of having good friends. It's seeing my kids all grown up and getting ready to start out on their own. (Now, if I could just convince them to get started on the grandkids thing.......)
