We used to have a group of REAL old-timers who would moan every time a topic would be brought up by a newbie -- "Oh, that's been posted seventy-two times already" -- not taking into account that new people are signing up all the time, and every "nice guy" thread is somebody's first.

Some of the old crew had developed a truly bizarre entitlement attitude about the site -- they wanted it to stay stagnant, exactly as it had been the day they joined, and THAT is not a good scenario for those of us who want to see the site grow and prosper.

Most of that group ended up leaving after remarking, "This isn't MY JSH anymore."

The point is, it never WAS "their" JSH.

It belongs to all of us.

And that means we need to have a little tolerance when we see a question asked for the 75th time.

Somebody is seeing it asked for the first time.

I have to agree Lex, it was kind of stupid to even think this was their site. You would keep on seeing how they would be posting and complaining how new people were joining the site. Um, that was the whole purpose of making a dating site


As for the same post being run over and over and over again. Yeah and if i'm right, the OP made a thread about lurkers. This is more then half the reason i may look at a post but wont reply because in the two years i been on here. a lot of topic's have been talk to death and you will always have new people joining the forum, so them topic's are expected.

Over all, this site does need to grow, because being the way it is and looking at it from a man's point and vew. Any new women that comes on to the forum is attacked by the hawlk's on here
