I learned about the munchies growing up in Houston in the 60's!!! That's the ONE nice thing about a little age.....we've been there....done that....most of the time. I've always worked around dangerous stuff. (truck driving, oilfield hand, heavy equipment mechanic) but for the last 27 years, I've been in the aviation safety business. YOU probably don't want me to do that, especially if you are on the plane!! |

One time when I was unemployed, I needed to pay some bills and support my family. I found a place that would send me out to mobile homes in trailer parks where they had purchased the axles out from under them. I was supposed to crawl under the trailers and remove the axles and springs and them haul them to the company's yard and they would pay me $10.00 each for those big old things. I was an "independant contractor" working on commission. Now if you've ever seen under a mobile home that's been in one place for a while you'll understand what kind of "job" this was. Maybe you might understand why I have NO sympathy for someone not working too! If you REALLY wanna work...there's jobs!! Sorry! |
