Stones.

Scattered
on
the
shore
like
confetti.
Each one hewn from
a different source,
each one carries
its own life force.

Coloured gems lie
next to a reflection
of themselves
accentuating their
inherent meaning,
beaming in the
delight of life.

They lie still, yet
all the while listen
to receive each new
passing wave,
each new
passing day.

In their stillness
indeed they speak,
indeed they live,
indeed, they greet.

Beautiful write J. My grandmother collected stones, I collected stones and my son collected also. You could always find them lines up on a deck, on the nightstand, in a piece of jewelry. flowerforyou flowerforyou

I love the texture and energy of them so much that I brought the largest piece of turquoise shale that I could budge with me when I moved from Alberta ...

must be 30 x 14 inches

...and my abstract work tends to take on the textures of rock ...

Beautiful ((J))

Wow! That is one big stone g/f!

Turquoise is a wonderful stone to have... it has wonderful energetic properties, symbolizes friendship and brings peace to a home. You must have a very peaceful home, but that wouldn't surprise me drinker
