This guy sends a message on mingle... give me his im id. He looks decent... so I contact him on im. And he plays 20 questions... no hi how are you? just starts in on questions. Then asks... well if we were to get serious would I be able to legally adopt your son. I told him no b/c my son's father would never give up his parental rights, even though he hasn't been a part of his life. Dude, totally called me a liar that I stated that owen's dad was active in his life, but then stated that he wouldn't terminate rights. What I don't get? Is how can someone that has never had child's be qualified to determined if a parent's rights should be revoked, so they can adopt a child. And suggest that I should just move out of state and not tell my son's father so I can terminate his right based off of non-activity in the childs life. I would like my son's father to disappear off the face of the earth, but I am not going to purposely take my son's father from his life. If his father choose to be absent that's his problem, but I will not do that to my son. And guess what dude... I hope you read the forums... cause I think you are an !%# |

Invite him over for dinner....meet him at the door with the pot of boiling pasta water or better yet...a sizzling pan of fried chicken grease... throw it on him and say "Adopt that"....then close the door.

If he is as much of a control freak as it sounds....he may very well make the drive for some 3rd degree burns.

I have gotten that before, but because I carry some extra weight around with me. Some men contact larger girls thinking that we will be grateful for the attention and easy to manipulate and control. They don't get that some of us have a pretty good self image and think we are great people that don't have to settle for just anyone because of a number on a scale. He needs to get a life. |

well I here on the 20 q's..it crazy...but I was lucy enough to have my girls biological father give up his rights..then my 2-x adopted her,but alas like you hes not a part of her life..he screwed that up...maybe we get an odd text or call now & again..but thats only whan I have to contact him beacuse of something..trust me its only because I legally must..and at this point if someone wants to be a father figure..good luck..shes 14 goung on 40..so she won't take another man tring to be "DADDY"...neither will...if or when that time comes,she will give someone respect..and so forth,,but only if she recieves..
