Well, I finally got to tell the dad-to-be Monday morning. He took it pretty well, and said that he will be there for me and the baby. And surprisingly, my family took it really well. I was expecting them to be disappointed in me, but they all were really happy about it. So that took a lot of pressure off of the situation. As for my daughter, I'm not going to tell her yet. She's 10 years old and has been wanting a baby brother or sister and I always told her that it was just never going to happen. (That's what I thought anyway) I'm getting a t-shirt made that says "I'm going to be a big sister" and I'm going to let her open it up on Christmas morning. She is going to freak out, lol. Awww Carmen....All that sounds SO GREAT!!!! You sound like you are a GREAT mom!!! I know this is kinda wierd coming from a guy, but I feel all warm and fuzzy inside for you and your new adventure. You have MADE my day hearing this!!! |

 Went to the Dr. yesterday. I'm calling it my speck baby, because that's about all you can see right now . Get to hear the heartbeat in 2 weeks.  |

How far along are you???? Please take prenatal vitamins!!! As of today I'm 6weeks and 2 days. And I started my vitamins yesterday. The doctor had to take me off some of the medications I was on, but he gave me some tips on how to alleviate any problems with out them. And I didn't drink any coffee yesterday or today, but don't know how long that will last. One thing they discouraged me from eating was chocolate. Don't know if I can do that one, but it's been 16 hours, and none so far, lol. |

I will let you all know what I'm having as soon as I find out. I'm hoping for a boy, but as long as it's healthy, that's all that matters to me.
