Anwhere in Europe prior to Christianity. I went there about a year ago. Such an amazing place. I'm not religious (far from it). But, I did go to a few churches there. The architecture was breathtaking. And, oddly enough, nobody was there to pray or worship. They are mainly for tourists now. But, yeah, I see what you're saying. Like in the middle ages, before or during the crusades. That would be pretty scary. But fun.

I'd gladly return to the 'Summer of Love' era...then and the few years following it. Maybe it is just the sentimental reminiscing of a middle-aged hippie, but it seemed the world was a kinder place then...peace...love...merry pranksters. There didn't seem to be as much greed...kids weren't killing each other...people seemed to care for each other more. Like I said, I may be romanticising...but that is what I now recall

If you could travel to any place in history, which moment and place would you go? It may be fictional or a real place. I would have liked to have been one of the astronauts who landed on the moon. Either that or I would have liked to have been there the day the Right Brothers flew the first time. smiles

I'd go back to the pioneer days in the U.S. When people traveled by covered wagons, raised their own foods and crops, not very much technology to worry about and it was a time when people didn't mind doing their own work or helping someone else with theirs.
