i had one guy awhile back he was from africa, i told him i was a singer and he actually fell for it.. i block him after that

I get my name harvested from here often by African scammers. I've even had several Russian ones. The first one I thought might be real till I looked up the email address and it was linked to a known scammer.

The rest, I've played with as long as I could.

Yep...first week on here...he wanted my im in 2 days, was in love in 4....was selling his factory in London and moving here with his daughter to treat me like a queen....got together with him...he is really good at this....found all of the sign ons he uses...I im'd the list to the scammer and told a little fib, told him I was internet security....all I got back was a big "WHAT"?....and he was gone And if you want to email me, I can give you his name

Scammers are great fun! Especially when you lead them on!

Mine was tall, blonde and blue-eyed. Was an engineer, of course and had loads of money. Lived in Alaska and moved from Scotland to meet his wife, who of course died of cancer and now he was alone..no sex or dates for 7 years, but now found me and true love...only thing was he had to go to Nigeria to build a road and got stuck there with no money for hotel room..and just didn't know what to do..

Mine solld sewing machines went to africa.
Needed $2500 dollars to get them through customs. Was going to return the money as soon as the deal was done. needless to say I said No. I didnt have the money.

I think its only an equal right to know if someone WANTS to hurt or use another for money or heart!

And to openly discuss if any are here is cool as long as no names are mentioned..

I have had about 15 women from over-seas TRY and get me in on their scam..I reported each one.

But the normal scammers are fairly easy to see...its the HEART POUNDING beautiful people that can hurt you the most through their lies..

Everyone can have a bad experience with another here,,and then try and destroy that other through lies.
Most just move on and forget that person..or just leave it as the end..

But SOME,,,have and will hurt others in their lives as they have hurt many of my friends on here,,and their game is about the same,,,,
No they don't need or want any of your money,
BUT THEY WILL OPENLY EXCEPT IT!

No their really in love with you and find you to be all and everything they ever wanted.....then drop you at any given time after that for no reasons? Could be a week, a month or a year as that happen here to a dear friend.

Let me just say,,,its better to ALWAYS keep your mind open and your heart gaurded to everyone,,,at least til you have a real chance at meeting them..Then base them on that and do whatever you feel..
These are just my real thoughts to this very real internet.

i had many conversations with a predator-type person who attempts to gain personal information from people and use it to hack their computers.

one of my friends has been stalked in real life by this same person.

i have emails saved from him wherein he shows his anger, aggression, and personal enjoyment from taunting and lying to people, and feels no remorse, at all, for his dishonesty.

it is because of him that i am cynical about giving my trust to people online that i haven't met in real life.

i like these types of threads because it's imperative to keep reminding people to be safe online and the more we share, the safer we become.

Totage once tried to scam me, he said he was a girl with real boobies and she wanted me to touch them, so I gave her a dollar, and it turned out she was a he.

haha, at least YOU didn't feel as though you had to wear a suit for your cam interview (like poor jack did. God, he was petrified of me )
