I saw this list and it made me think about movies that changed me.

Maybe on top of my list would be "To Kill a Mockingbird" I was also pretty deeply affected by "Citizen Kane" not for the same reasons as Trump who sees it's message as about power but because I saw Kane's inability to connect even with people he loved and it killed me. "American Beauty" also spoke to me. Maybe because it caused me to examine where I was in my life too. There are other movies that affected me too but those are the ones that come immediately to mind.

The Color Purple

Jerry McGuire- I watched this, and was so fascinated at seeing a sports agent, considered to be the slime of the earth, develop a conscience about what he did for a living and his own life, and how he wanted to change that. How he wanted to help others, and how he wanted to become a better person. I saw this and examined my own life as well, because I too want to make a difference in people's lives.

The most recent movie - "Into the Wild". Deeply profound for me.
