I think that's the key to the whole thing -- self-expression --and there are different ways to do that, for different people. I have friends on this site who I have never seen a real picture of -- and that's OK; they're still my friends....

But.... Lex, did you know that only two gems known of thousands to man are actually found in the mantel of the earth. Those being the diamond and the peridot? The rest so far have only been found in the crust!!!

I was not aware of that! I mean, OK, the diamond makes sense -- highly compressed carbon -- but I NEVER would have guessed the peridot....!

Although I vaguely remember him running for President when I was younger....

I think it's pretty cool that I fell for a fella before I ever saw his pics. I think you should all give it a try. I think pics should be banned until you've mailed for a while.

They are the ones that ask to see pics of me...I tell them I have...but they can never seem to find it....

I don't own a digital camera. I had to have a friend take all my photos at once so I would have something for this dating site.

It's all me posing in front of a nasty lake with mean geese.
I am in the same clothes in every picture and just making silly poses.

I wonder if that's a turn off or a no no?

I do have some digital pictures of me in my boy shorts but I was only 16 when they were taken. I am guessing anything under 18 is not allowed.

I didn't think about who would do the noticing of my photos until I started getting messages. I was surprised at who was noticing me.

I just discovered that mode. I think girls like it because when we look at a guys profile....half the time we get a message from him. I am nosy so I look at lots of guys....plus I am trying to find a match for me. I don't want every guy I am looking at to message me. I hate replying to messages with a rejection message.
