WE DONT MEET MANT JEWISH SINGLE OUT HERE. AS YOU KNOW WE KIND OF KIND OF KEEP TO OWR SELFS. I LIVE IN A TOWN THAT IS 2499 TO 1 JEW. MY SPOUSE JUST PASSED AWAY AFTER 20 YEARS. I DID INSTIST ON SOME OF OUR WAYS OF BURYAL AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY AGREE. THE FUNERAL HOME FOUND IT A DIFFERNT REQUEST BUT HONORED IT. WHAT THEY DONT KNOW IS THAT ALOT OF THE POEPLE IN THIS TOWN DONT KNOW IS THAT MANY IN THIS TOWN COME FROM THE OLDEST JEWISH FAMILIES IN THIS COUNTRY. BUT WHEN THEY COME THROUH GA AND OTHER STATES THEY MARRIED OUT AND THEY DID NOT HAVE GOOD RECORD OF THE PAST.

shalom y'all. i am here just outside of Houston, Tx. There is not a big Jewish community out here,and worse I was not really involved in it until recently when I got felt the tugs of emptiness from not practicing or being a part of my community. I hope to hear from you soon.

My boss said he won't bring Santa for the kids because he did nothing for Hanukkah.

I told him, "Sir, I am currently the ONLY Jew working for you. You really think I cared that you didn't know that the Jewish holidays jump around like rabbits on crack and this year Hanukkah started on December 1? Are you NOT going to have Thanksgiving November 2013 because Hanukkah starts the same day and you will most likely have NOT lit the Menorah?"
