So what do you play?
I play electric & acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards. I sing a little too. I own a nice semipro recording studio too so if anyone needs something mixed or mastered, I may be able to help you out. |

If I had the money I would totally get one of those. Right now I'm using FL Studio 7. I want to experiment a bit with some Gameboy synth programs. Mainly Little sound dj and Nanoloop. Just so I can try some 8-bit music.

Just so I can try some 8-bit music. There are many free plugins called bitcrushers that can give any sample or loop that lo-fi sound your after. Ever use em? |

I've tried a few of 8-bit vst's in vsthost and made a couple of songs. The software is alright to use, but using the actual Gameboy hardware adds something extra to the sound.

don't give up! it just gets slow in here sometimes...
 like to just goof around. i have a fostex mr8. mostly play the acoustic. if you heard me play lately you'd likely hear some of my very own compositions - or maroon5 secret or ain't she sweet... i like to listen to fretkillr on youtube... like everything classical to rap. never had any formal "lessons"... |

Well, up until a couple months ago I was doing a lot of hard rock and metal. But lately for some reason my attention has been getting pulled more towards country... And sorry, nothing recorded...This computer doesn't even have a mic on it. When I move into my new place I want to turn a bedroom into an office and get some higher (not highEST) quality recording equipment and mixing programs, that way i can put things together one peice at a time. |

I used to play drums.
I taught both of my sons how to play. I haven`t been behind a drum set in about 12 years. But i`m sure that it wouldn`t take long to knock the rust off. Also tried to play bass guitar and guitar. Messed my left hand up when I was a kid. Can`t hold chords right without my ring finger and pinkie hurting like hell. |
