The title for the American release was Koma.
Plot summary for Jiu ming (2004) Jealousy, desire, trust, and revenge. A complicated love triangle emerges during an investigation into the theft of a woman's kidney. At a wedding party in a fancy hotel, a guest happens on the victim. The guest, Chi Ching, reports seeing a suspicious woman at the wedding, and at a police station, it's disclosed that the woman in question, Suen Ling, has slept with Ching's fiancé, Wei. He claims he loves only Ching, but Ling keeps showing up. Reassured by Wei, Ching tries to befriend Ling. Ling's back-story, Ching's health, and Wei's desires keep the love triangle spinning. Two have already been mentioned, The Exorcist and The Shining, but I thought Silence of the Lambs was scary, not exactly horror tho.

The hellraiser series was pretty damn good I thought

The opening scene of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the high pitched whining of the camera, and the shots of the decaying corpses still creeps me out to this day. Not to mention it was loosely based on the real life serial killer Ed Gein.
The scene with Zelda from Pet Sematary was pretty creepy. I'm still a bit uncomfortable swimming in the ocean after watching Jaws. Jesus Camp was the scariest documentary I've seen recently. |

Well, I can tell you the two movies that freaked me out the most in my life. It was more due to the situation than the actual movie itself, but things just worked out right and it ended up scaring the **** out of me.
I don't remember the title...Man Eating Clowns from Space? Something like that. Clowns come out of space and start kidnapping children and eating them and stuff. I was like 9 when I saw this and it scarred me for life. The other was...yes, The Ring. When at the end of the movie that dead ***** crawled out of the tv. It was like 1 am in the morning, I was in a completely dark room and had a long drive home through the country after that. I was scared ****less that whole drive home. |
