Well i like Christmas music, in fact, i listen to the Pogues and Kirsty McColls "Fairytale of new York" all yr round!!
I find irony in religious threads...where passionate Christians go on about being 'good people' then when ya look around on other threads, they r being completely vulgar and have display pics that have sexual connotations. Also, when they r in arguing mode, they r the least accepting ppl. |

But that's exactly the point. How soon is "too soon", and why doesn't it apply for the rest of the year for ordinary music? Doesn't it seem strange that people can listen to the same songs over and over again all year long and think nothing of it, but cringe every year the moment Christmas music hits the airwaves for a MONTH? Because we are inundated with it. It's on EVERY radio EVERY place we go. At least in my home I can chose to change the station or turn the damn thing off. |

Folks are inundated with secular music wherever they go all year long too, so why aren't they sick of IT? I'm just sayin'. It's only for a few weeks out of the year. I just find it very strange that so many people can't handle it for even that long. |

Maybe its cos ppl r daunted by the fact Christmas is almost here.....cos it means they know its a commercial time of yr that costs a lot of money?! maybe they dont want to be reminded of it!
Eitherway, i love listening to Christmas music, it adds to the specialness of the season. |

i always laugh at the women who post sexy and revealing photos of their bodies and then create a thread whining about how men only want one thing when they write and classify them as pigs. i figure they are only looking to buy what's in the window. this in no way means that i'm offended by risque photos - i think they're fine. it's just when those who post them get all irate because of the email which they generate. |

I find it ironic that folks will say they need to exercise more but will circle a parking lot for 15 minutes for the closest parking spot to the door, take elevator instead of the stairs, etc.
