I cant understand how anyone could vote for the same failures we endured for the last 8 years. Obama took my county by about 1% historicly it has been a republican sure thing. Our local paper on election day urged everyone to vote for Mccain and had an editorial advertisement sponcored by the newspaper in the paper. I am glad they have egg on their faces.

I think it's because people vote for all different reasons and issues...no matter how you slice it...a social conservative could never and would never vote for someone who's views are so differing...myself...I voted for McCain...as did most of who I hang with and all of my family members...the main reason being pro life...being Catholic...it's just the way I've been raised...and...at my age...it's too ingrained in me to change now...do mI try to impose my beliefs on anyone else ?...absolutely not !!!

I have given alot of thought into the pro life issue being in doing my door to door work for the Obama campaign it seemed to be the one big issue for alot of people. To me it seems that no one will ever force anyone to get an abortion and I think it should be available to someone in dire straights who cannot responsibly raise a child. I hope we didnt just open up a can of worms on this topic. I am heading out to stack some firewood so I am out for now.

They kept california off the board untill 11:00 pm , at least in my time zone, and it was going almost two to one for obama it realy should have been called sooner. It was a true blue landslide
