No its true. Though in the hurry up offense that is ben calling the plays and not the offensive coordinator I believe.
I also think that when ben plays hurt he is not an asset to the team. Its what doomed the steelers two years ago. He just never recovered from his motorcycle accident and appendicitis. He rushed himself back into action and his interceptions:td ratio rose. I think if leftwich had played the colts would have lost. |

Its what doomed the steelers two years ago. He just never recovered from his motorcycle accident and appendicitis. He rushed himself back into action and his interceptions:td ratio rose. I think if leftwich had played the colts would have lost. Ben does call the plays in a hurry up offense. But it works for them. And I said the same thing about him not being fully recovered from his bike wreck and appendicitis. I also agree that Leftwich playing would have changed the outcome of the Colts game. I guess hindsight is 20/20. |

Got the watch the game last night. I feel much better about Ben's health. He looked good in and out of the pocket. He seemed comfortable with the short and long passes.
Now for the bummer..I think Keisel might be out for the season. Not confirmed yet, but Tomlin's press conference last night sounded pretty grim. Holmes should be fine, 10 days to recover from his concussion, and Parker should be good to go for next week too. |

The patriots have dominated the steelers in past years, its why I hate them >:

steelers by 8 against the pats cassel will get pressured and hurried.

Just checked online. They are saying that Willie is out this week. Brett Keisel is out at least 3. But I still think we will do okay.
Definitely gonna need the hurry up against the Pats. They have beat us like 7 out of the last 8 times we played. We need to be able to keep them unsettled. Here is hoping. |

Cassel can run something that hurt the steelers in the playoffs last year against the Jags.
The game was wrapped up but Gerrard scrambled for 25+ yards, it was embarassing. have to be careful. I think wes welker might have a big game. But otherwise i like the steel curtains chances if our offense has a B or better game. I rated the performance against the bengals a C. |
